One of the most important cultural festivals in Slovenia.
Pust is celebrated in every town and city, usually in February or early March. The Carnival takes place as a great parade in the town’s streets. During the parade, a lot of noises are made to scare away the “horrible” winter.
It is a tradition for children and also adults to dress up in a costume and join the carnival. Here in BISL we had almost every student including staff dressed in a costume and this is what they have come up with.
We definitely didn't forget about our traditional Slovenian doughnuts and gave each student one to enjoy on this happy and festive day.
A big thanks to the PTA team for making this possible. The students loved them and enjoyed every bite.
