Today we kicked off our International Days celebrations with a fantastic Opening Ceremony.
For this year's Opening Ceremony, after an inspirational speech and warm welcome by our Head of Student Council, Julia in Year 10, the flag parade commenced this morning here at BISL and streamed live via Zoom as well. Following a short introduction, each country took to the stage to greet everyone in their own language. To add to this lovely atmosphere, parents and our youngest students watched from the playground, while our older students joined the Zoom link to watch and cheer for their country's representatives from their classrooms.

Our students have been busy these past few weeks making the flags for today's parade, and a huge well done to them on their efforts. We will let the photos speak for themselves - enjoy!
