Hello BISL Community,
We are excited to be heading up the PTA this year with the help of all our community volunteers, working with you to organize fun events and fundraisers in support of our community. The following is a summary of the PTA initiatives that have been completed this block, as well as a peek into upcoming events in the New Year:
Christmas Decorations – BISL is looking very festive and full of holiday cheer! A big thank you to Niki T. for heading the decorations committee and all the wonderful volunteers who helped.
Uniform Sale – Our Fall uniform sale had a very successful start and many items were sold! We really appreciate Barbara V. for heading up this effort and to all those who assisted and donated uniform items. Keep a look out for the Spring Uniform sale, where you’ll have another chance to participate! If you still want to get some brand new items for fabulous prices, make a reservation asap. Spring sale will mostly be used uniform items.
Trije Zimski Botri Charity – A huge thank you to our community for your support of this year's C4C & PTA Christmas Action project. The BISL community fulfilled over 150 children’s wishes! We really appreciate the work of Maja N., Barbara V., Petra, Class Parents, Form Tutors and Tanya Charlesworth that all organised this initiative.
Santa Visit – The Primary classes had a special visit from Santa Claus, via Zoom and in person before the holiday break! A special thanks to Mr. Walton and Siu-May G. for making the Santa visit a reality.
Upcoming Events
February 23rd - Pust Celebration
PTA activities and events rely on the active participation of the community. Please consider heading up a committee or volunteering your time to support our school community. We would also love to hear your ideas for uniting the community during these challenging times. pta@britishschool.si
