It is an exciting time of the year...

We have been pleasantly surprised this week with a fresh blanket of snow in Slovenia, creating a wonderful atmosphere at school for our students to enjoy!

Early this morning, our staff arrived at school to be welcomed by the magic of the first snow in Slovenia this year. With trees dusted, paths cleared and untouched deep snow in our woodland area, the students gathered together to play, explore and enjoy the tranquility of a winter feel in our special environment.

We are very fortunate to be in such a beautiful country with its outdoor charm, natural beauty and that fresh, clean air at this time of year. I believe that all students should have the opportunity to be outside, experience the abundance of snow in the woodland area and to make snow angels and explore the snow and to be able to switch off and revel in this seasonal change.

As we head into the last two weeks of school this term, we hope all students can return to the school building soon and we are excited to see everyone again face to face.

With the decorations up around the school, snow all around us and anticipation building with our upcoming Christmas events, productions and activities, we hope to finish the term with some festive merriment and good cheer!

We are also grateful to have very kind parents in our community supporting the school in many ways, including being part of the incredible Trije Zimski Botri project, giving up their time to put up decorations around the school and a organising a visit from Santa to look forward to!

In these two weeks we hope to make this our very own 'North Pole', complete with many snowmen...

Kind regards,
