We are delighted with the fantastic results achieved by our students in their summer examinations.
Congratulations to all students in this year’s examination cohorts, we are very proud of them and hope they feel how much their hard work, commitment and dedication have paid off with an outstanding set of grades during these particularly challenging times.
100% of our students at both IGCSE and A Level achieved A*-C grades across all Sciences – a remarkable achievement given that many of our students are non-native English speakers.
66% of our IGCSE grades were A*- A, which are the highest two grades available, well above the UK average, and an increase from last year’s success. 100% of our IGCSE students achieved 5 A*- C grades in their subjects including English and Mathematics. Our A Level results show that 29% of students attained the highest grade available, with straight A*s.
Congratulations to the following students for their exceptional achievements:
A LEVEL

Ajda, Emiel, Ioannis, Lara, Martin and Tatiana – 100% A*- A in all their A Level subjects
AS LEVEL
(Year 12)

IGCSE
(Year 11)

Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) IGCSEs and A Levels are regarded as the gold standard of quality, respected by universities and employers globally. These outstanding results have set our students on a path to success in all their future endeavours, and will allow them to gain entry into some of the world's top universities.
One of the reasons parents choose the British International School of Ljubljana is our drive for academic excellence. We value our fantastic academic outcomes and look forward to challenging, inspiring and supporting our next group of examination students throughout their studies. The successes of this summer have yet again set high expectations for our incoming cohorts.
A special thank you to all teachers and parents for their time, encouragement and endless support for our students during what was most certainly an unprecedented examination year.
