Year 3 and Year 4 transformed
their classrooms into an Egyptian tomb and an ancient bazaar filled with
papyrus, burial masks and ancient writing. Children from other year groups were
taught to write their names in hieroglyphics or cuneiform. They learned how to
mummify people or cuddly toys and pretended to be ancient Egyptian Gods.
All proving that creative, communicative, student centred learning is at
the heart of our school.
