After 12 weeks of preparation, students from our Early Years and Primary School, led my Ms Petra Škofic-Damjan, put on a wonderful performance of a medley of Disney classics, tied together by some fantastic acting from some of our older students.
Hosted in the Španski Borci theatre on March 27th, families and friends couldn’t wait to get their tickets to watch the show. We sold well over 200 tickets, which is a new school record!
Each class from Early Years to Year 6 had about 4 – 6 dances for a particular Disney classic, performing in an array of carefully crafted, colourful costumes. To tie all of the performances together, some of our older students, Asia, Begum, Mairi, Maria, Ole and Sofya, prepared an amazing script, as a very creative transition between performances.
A special thanks goes to our PTA for their contributions to the show, and to all our Parents for the effort they put into making these fantastic costumes for our students. We would also like to thank all Primary teachers and ATs for their help and support throughout the preparations and on the day of the show, as well as Dalia Divovicfor make-up, Andrej Novotny and Anže Damjan for sound and scenery, Aleš Zalesnik for music editing, Borut Smajila for posters and programmes, Vesna Škofic for photography, and POP-TV for video. Parents will be notified once the video becomes available.
