We have now finished Block 1 and have time to look back on the amazing 'Adventure Days' that ran through the first few weeks of term 1. They were hugely successful and enjoyed by our staff and students as a way to have fun, work together and to try out a rich variety of new skills and experiences in the first month of school.
Our students enjoyed kayaking, walking, swimming, rafting, zip lines, mountain biking and a whole host of other exhilarating events during their time away together. They had great fun, laughing and learning together and enjoying fantastic scenery and wildlife in places such as in Soča valley, Soča river, Bovec, Kranjska Gora, Lake Jasna, Kolpa river, Great gorge of Soča etc.
Thank you to all staff involved in these adventure days and also to the students who worked extremely well together and therefore got so much out of this wonderful opportunity. The feedback so far has been very positive about the entire programme.
A special thank you to Mr. Aleš Brumen who organised all of the trips and did an outstanding job of encouraging, supporting and challenging all of the students during their time away on these activities.
