Summer holidays are just around the corner!
With over 70 students attending last year's two-week Summer School programme, this year promises to be an equally fun, exciting and enriching experience for all children involved.
This year's Summer School at BISL will take place between 4th July and 15th July!
Children aged 3 to 11 are invited to experience BISL during the summer, having great fun learning a variety of new skills through play, team-building activities, sports, and arts & crafts, all in an English-speaking environment. Summer School is open to both BISL and external students.
Your child will enjoy their amazing summer adventure with children from various parts of the world, between 8:00 and 15:00 each day, under the watchful eye of our highly experienced mentors. Children are not required to have a high level of English proficiency as our mentors are experienced EAL teachers and will encourage and support all children to develop their English language skills throughout their time at our Summer School.
Summer School is the perfect opportunity for your child to enhance their level of English the natural way, through total immersion, whilst socialising with their peers and having fun!

Students at BISL make excellent progress, thanks to a well-coordinated and coherent policy for students who speak English as an additional language (EAL) which is a very high proportion, and to a notable whole school approach to the teaching of the language.

BISL Summer School 2022 will run from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00 between 4th July and 15th July at the British International School of Ljubljana and its immediate surroundings. Children aged 3-11 are welcome to attend, whether enrolled at BISL or not, as the programme is adapted to meet the individual needs of the students attending the activities.
Children are not required to have a high level of English proficiency as our mentors are qualified and experienced BISL staff and will encourage and support your child to develop their English language skills throughout their time at Summer School.

During their time at Summer School, children will spend time playing and being creative outdoors, on our playground and woodland area, while also exploring the forest surrounding the school on various nature walks. They will develop teamwork and cooperation skills through leading various themed projects, and will have lots of fun cooking, painting, taking part in role-play, drama and musical activities!
In addition, children engage in sporting activities at the school grounds and the local sports centre.

Prices include morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, as well as materials and activities featured in the programme.
*for BISL students during Week 1, lunch is not included - students can either order school lunch, or bring lunch from home.

Our Summer School is suitable for children aged 3 to 11, regardless of their level of English.
Summer School takes place at BISL on campus, both in and outdoors, with various fun trips and activities in our vicinity.
Summer School will be held between 4th July and 15th July this year, between 8:00 and 15:00 daily.
You have the option to sign up for the full programme or an individual week only.
Please note that the drop-off and pick-up times are the following:
Morning drop-off: from 7:50 to 8:05
Afternoon pick-up: from 15:00 to 15:15
If you arrive after 8:05, please bring your child(ren) through the main entrance (ring the doorbell).
Prices per week are as follows:
Week 1: Free for BISL Students; €250 for External Students
Week 2: €180 for BISL Students; €250 for External Students
