PENTA International is one of the leading independent inspectorates of British Schools Overseas, accredited by the British Government’s Department for Education (DfE), providing training, consultancy and inspection services in the United Kingdom and overseas.

Independent Schools Inspectorate

ISI are appointed to inspect association independent schools in England and British schools overseas. BISL underwent a compliance inspection in 2024 and were rated fully compliant in all areas.

COBIS - The Council of British International Schools

COBIS serves British International Schools around the globe, representing over 281 Member Schools in 79 countries and over 209 Supporting Member organisations.

Cambridge Assessment International Education

Cambridge qualifications are accredited and valued by many leading universities and employers around the world.

AQA

AQA is one of the largest awarding bodies in the UK, offering specifications and examinations in various subjects at GCSE, AS and A Level and other vocational qualifications.

Edexcel

Edexcel ’s world-class academic and general qualifications include GCSE, IGCSE, A levels and international A levels. Edexcel is part of the Pearson Group.

Bell Foundation Accreditation

The Bell Foundation is a charity which aims to overcome exclusion through language education by working with partners on innovation, research, training and practical interventions. It accredits regional Centres of Expertise in the UK to build sustainable provision for learners who use English as an Additional Language (EAL) and offers Language for Results International, a high-quality suite of training, tools, resources and accreditation for international schools underpinned by the latest research and designed with learner impact at the forefront. BISL was the first school to achieve re-accreditation in June 2025, rated exemplary in all areas of our language provision.
