In today's Secondary Assembly, our Principal Mr. Cox, explored the school's values of Respect, Responsibility, Excellence, Integrity and Compassion.
He did so by moving from holding Cookery Books up in one hand, to our previous 'Be More Goose ' assembly talk about determination, grit and resilience, to the reasons why he believes expectations are much more powerful and healthy for our community than rules.
Students were invited to discuss and share amongst themselves why expectations are likely to be more effective. When Mr. Cox asked the Secondary students if they would prefer to be driven by expectations rather than rules, many raised their hands for expectations but none for rules!
