Mr Aycock was born in Yorkshire but spent his first year in the Turks and Caicos Islands, before seeing out the rest of his childhood on the Isle of Man, in the middle of the Irish Sea. He gained a First Class MA (Hons) from the University of St Andrews in Ancient History and Archaeology, holds an MA (Distinction) in Archaeology from Durham University and a Primary PGCE (Distinction) from Newcastle University. Mr Aycock is extremely happy to be back working in a Slavic country and is very much looking forward to getting a season ticket to watch the local ice hockey team!
