Over the past few weeks, Year 2 has been immersed in the world of art, exploring different materials and learning about a variety of artists.
To celebrate their newfound knowledge, they put on a special performance where they stepped into the shoes of famous artists and artworks.
In preparation, we practised our lines, designed costumes, created stunning stage decorations, and thought carefully about how to bring each artist to life. They put their costumes on and faces painted, they performed twice—first for fellow students and teachers, and then for their parents, grandparents, and other loved ones.
Year 2 did an incredible job showcasing their creativity and confidence on stage, proving that they are true art specialists! Well done!
