Why did you decide to specialize in Primary education?
Young children are such fun. They have a very unique outlook on the world and aren't afraid to question everything. In Early Years they make so much progress in a year, not even just in their learning, and I love watching them become their own independent person.
What makes BISL such a unique place to work?
BISL has such a range of individuals, from the children, staff and parents. It's great to take influence from all of these different factors and use them daily at school but also in my own life.
How would you describe a typical day at BISL?
Busy! Our days are crammed full of learning and new experiences for the children but they absolutely thrive off all the new learning and challenges.
What is the best part of your day at BISL?
I enjoy our free flow periods where the children explore our topics through play. Although we guide them towards activities, it's exciting to see where the children decide to take their learning.
Why is the experience of an international education important for a student?
I believe it is important for students to experience as many different cultures, languages and ways of life as possible. This makes for a more educated and tolerant world which I feel we should all be striving for.
