On April 25th, our youngest Mathematicians in the secondary school competed in an international Mathematics competition. The UKMT Mathematics Junior Online Challenge is a 60-minute, multiple-choice Challenge. It encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.

The problems on the Junior Mathematical Challenge are designed to make students think and to encourage the application of Mathematical knowledge.

Out of the 20 members of key stage 3 who competed, we were awarded 4 gold certificates (more than 70% of the marks), 5 silver certificates (more than 60% of the marks)and 6 bronze certificates (more than 50% of the marks).

Congratulations to all those who took part and especially to those who received the awards.
