At the end of October, our Sixth Formers had a celebratory morning as they were presented with their IGCSE and AS Level results certificates from their June 2021 examination series.

Our students achieved some outstanding results, especially so due to the disruption caused during the year by the pandemic. The students continued to receive concise instructions from their teachers, were assessed rigorously throughout and proved several times over that they deserved the grades they were awarded. It was therefore very satisfying to celebrate their fantastic results together.

There were many strong academic achievements to choose from:

  • Our current year 13 students, Emma and Taja who both achieved four A grades at AS Level.
  • Wiktoria and Anže, who achieved 5 and 8 A* grades respectively.

However special congratulations must go to Chloe, who completed her entire A Level Mathematics study, which is usually a two year course, in one year and achieved an A* grade to go with her 3 A grades at AS Level. We wish her all the best of luck in her upcoming Further Mathematics examinations, UKMT Senior Mathematics competition and her Test of Mathematics for University Admissions, all happening later this month.

A lot of hard work goes into preparing for these examinations all throughout the year, with revision sessions and booster sessions taking place after school, on weekends and during the block breaks.
