What a brilliant day this turned out to be! We had 25 students from BISL running in all ages groups and the predicted rain forecasted stayed away from the city centre to allow perfect running and spectating conditions for us.
Primary school was represented in all ages groups and all students displayed fantastic effort and performance. Well done to Mark Biletski, Kyle Frezard, Tikhon Korneev, Samuel Sorčan, Darsh Jain, Bartosz Budyta, Vaibhav Kumar, Aleksandra Budyta, Jade Frezard, Divyansh Jain, Nikola Nesterovič, Shivam Kumar and Leeloo Sorčan.
A special mention to Head Boy, Nikola from Year 6 who ran his own race and then also joined in the 3000m fun run with PE teachers Mr Anže and Miss Hannah running a brilliant time of 15 minutes!
Carissa Smith, Charlotte Godfried, Emma Godfried, Camie Salome Pabst von….. and Mckenna Nolting from the girls running club showed that their efforts of weekly running after school had transferred phenomenally onto the race course and they breezed through their run, finishing with great smiles on their faces and all running a personal best!
Thank you to all parents and staff who came down to support and Year 11 girls who came to cheer us on, a mention also to Eva Juričev who ran in the 10k race on the Sunday and also displayed a fantastic performance!
