On Thursday, 10 May, students from Years 4 to 6 took part in the 24 maths competition which Mr. Bishop organized with the other international schools of Ljubljana. The students earned the right to compete in the competition through organized class events.

Unfortunately, we were not able to retain the trophy, which we have held for a couple of years; however, a special mention must go to Marc Ventosa as he was the top student from our school. We would like to congratulate all the students who competed as they performed well amongst some tough competition.

To play the game of 24 math, four numbers are given on a card and each number must be used alongside a mix of operations to arrive at the final answer of 24. There are three levels of difficulty, and points are awarded accordingly.

Below is a sample card which you can try to solve at home.
