For World Book Day, our students dressed up as their favourite book characters and immersed themselves in the joy of reading. Children transformed themselves into a variety of beloved characters — some became magical fairies with shimmering wings, while others turned into fierce dragons breathing imaginary fire. Famous characters also appeared throughout the school, including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Alice, Peter Pan, Matilda Wormwood, and The Cat in the Hat.
There was also a whole-school competition for the best-designed classroom door, with classes across Primary and Secondary showcasing their creativity and love of books. In the morning, some parents come into Primary classrooms to read with the children, helping to make the day extra special and strengthening our shared love of reading at home and at school.
