With more than 30 nationalities represented at BISL, International Day is one of the highlights of our school calendar, bringing our diverse community together to celebrate the cultures, traditions, and heritage that make our school so unique.
The celebrations began with our annual Flag Parade, where students proudly carried the flags of their home countries while families and staff gathered to cheer them on. It was a colourful and meaningful display of the international spirit that defines life at BISL.
Following the parade, the celebrations continued with an international food fair, where families generously prepared and shared traditional dishes from around the world. The stalls were filled with delicious flavours, vibrant decorations, and opportunities to learn about different cultures through food, conversation, and shared experiences.
A huge thank you to all the parents, students, and staff who helped make this year's International Day such a memorable celebration. Events like these remind us that while our community comes from many different corners of the world, it is our shared respect, curiosity, and appreciation for one another that truly brings us together.
