On 21 November, our students and staff enjoyed the annual Traditional Slovene Breakfast, a nationwide initiative that promotes healthy eating, local food, and cultural appreciation. This wonderful tradition, celebrated every November across Slovenia, encourages young people to start the day with nutritious ingredients produced by local farmers.

At BISL, students enjoyed a classic Slovene breakfast of bread, butter, honey, and apples. These simple yet wholesome foods highlight the importance of locally sourced ingredients and remind us of the value of supporting Slovenian beekeepers and farmers.

We are proud to take part in this tradition each year and look forward to continuing to celebrate healthy habits and Slovenian culture with our school community.
