Briefly describe your journey as a teacher.
My journey as a teacher has been a fascinating adventure! I started my career fueled by a passion for learning and sharing knowledge. With experience in both the International Baccalaureate and National Curriculum, I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings. My five years in Mongolia were particularly impactful, where I not only taught but also took on leadership roles that helped shape my approach to education. Each classroom experience has taught me something new, and I’m constantly inspired by my students.
Why did you decide to specialize in Primary education?
I chose to specialize in Primary education because I love being part of those formative years when students are curious and eager to explore. It's rewarding to lay the foundation for their learning journey and help them discover their interests. Watching them grow and develop a love for learning is the best part of my job!

What is the best part of your day at BISL?
The best part of my day is the moments of connection with my students. Whether it’s a lightbulb moment when they grasp a new concept, a heartfelt conversation, or just sharing a laugh during class, those interactions make it all worthwhile. I cherish the relationships I build with my students, watching them grow not just academically but also socially and emotionally. Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm is the highlight for me!
Why is the experience of an international education important for a student?
An international education is invaluable because it broadens perspectives and fosters understanding of different cultures. Students learn to appreciate diversity and develop essential skills like adaptability and open-mindedness. This experience encourages them to think critically and solve problems in a global context. Ultimately, it prepares them to thrive in an interconnected world, making them more well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to society.
