BISL Students help out at the 10th Anniversary!

The British International School of Ljubljana were invited by the British Slovenian Chamber of Commerce to attend their prestigious 10th Anniversary at Klub Maxi.

The venue was decorated in a beautiful array of ‘British’ themed items, including a London Telephone box, Camper Van, Mini Coopers, Royal Guards and much more.

The event started with a presentation and update of the events and activities by the Chamber of Commerce. We were then treated to a demonstration by a celebrity chef (Alan Coxon) and speeches from local outstanding entrepreneurs. This followed with a performance by a Beatles tribute band (Help) and then a beautiful dinner.

Our Principal (Paul Walton), attended the event with 4 students, Lučka, Mickey, Izabela and Emma. These students were exceptional in the way they helped to greet, register and support guests who arrived during the evening.

We are extremely proud to attend events like this as it really enables us to give our students wonderful opportunities to collaborate with professionals outside of the classroom, meet new people and work in a different environment. They all excelled at the event in the way they showed constant energy, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

We look forward to the next event and experience for our wonderful students!
